• 510 Students were screened.
• 16 children were further assessed at Accurasight Pvt Ltd.
• 10 children and 2 staff were further assessed at Jyoticare Foundation Clinic.
• 17 Children & 2 staff were provided with Spectacles.
• All costs were borne by JCBF.

• VS conducted at Shindewadi MPS on 19th July 2024.
• 440 Students were screened.
• 6 children were further assessed at Accurasight Pvt Ltd.
• 4 Children were further investigated at Jyoticare Foundation Clinic.
• 8 children were provided with spectacles.

• VS conducted at Balvadi School, Colaba on 13th September 2024.
• 128 children were screened.
• 3 children were further assessed at Accurasight Pvt Ltd.
• 3 children were further assessed at Jyoticare Foundation clinic.
• All costs were borne by JCBF.

• VS conducted at Eden School, Saki Naka,Andheri from 17th December 2024 to 20th December 2024.
• 1475 Students were screened.
• Trisha Gupta squint surgery was performed at Lotus Eye Hospital
• Children were further assessed at Lotus Eye Hospital.
• All costs were borne by JCBF.

• 200 beneficiaries from Gujarat were trained & distributed with smart vision glasses.
• The function was held on at Dhirajlal Shah Town Hall on 7th March 2024.
• Optom Fatema representing JCBF and visually impaired Mr Sandeep trained all the beneficiaries online.
• Interns from Charusat university participated in the training of beneficiaries.

• 225 beneficiaries were trained and dispensed with SVG.
• Optom Yogita Rajdhani & Optom Fatema Symfawala (Master Trainers) trained all the beneficiaries online and during the distribution of devices to celebrate World Optmetry Day.
• Interns from Charusat university, SNDT university & Atlas university participated in the distribution program for training the beneficiaries.
• The article mentioning this program was published in Indian Optician magazine for March-April.

• 150 beneficiaries were distributed & trained for smart vision glasses.
• JCBF participated in the event held at H.V. Desai hospital, Pune on 3rd August 2024.

• JCBF organised an Award distribution ceremony of Lotus college Interns on 24th July 2024 for screening of children and teachers of various schools. Prizes for the best quality Vision Screening & full examination at Hospital were awarded.
• Mrs Prema Chande (Principal Lotus college of Optometry) distributed the prizes in presence of Faculties Ms Isha Dave & Mrs Mumtaz Qazi.
• Ms. Ishita Dhanji won the first prize.
• Ms. Shabnam Shaikh won the second prize.
• Ms. Nuzhat Shaikh won the third prize.
• All students who participated were given certificate of appriciation.

• JCBF collaborated with OCI in the ‘Women Leadership in Optometry’, an inspiring program to encourage women to be more proactive in this field. Many eminent women speakers addressed a large audience.
• The Article was published in Indian Optician magazine in March-April issue 2024.

• World Sight Day was celebrated on 10th October 2024 in Collaboration with MOA (Maha Optometry Association)
• The online session was conducted on eyecare which had 9 optometrist renowned speakers who educated & informed the general public on eye care, eye health, and importance of early detection of eye diseases for timely intervention.
